“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else,” said C. S. Lewis.
At Corporate Chaplains of America, we share this conviction. We believe in the historical facts of Christ’s coming, suffering, crucifixion, burial and resurrection, to save us from our sins and give us eternal life… and those historical facts also put all the issues of life in a very different light.
“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen…” – Luke 24:5-6
As the song “Clean,” sung by Christian artist Natalie Grant, declares:
What was shattered is made whole…
What was broken is made beautiful…
What was dirty is made worthy…
What was dead is made alive…
And it all happens through the resurrection power of Christ!
This life-changing Good News is what our chaplains proclaim day in and day out in workplaces across our nation, to employees and their families. What a privilege it is to do so!
What a joy it is to see men, women, boys and girls realize their need for the Savior. As they place their faith in Him, the light across the landscape of their lives changes—they experience REAL Hope for REAL Life. Each time that happens we say a prayer of thanks to God for another “mission accomplished” moment.
As you and I go forward and live in the light of Christ’s resurrection and anticipate His return, let’s ask ourselves what really matters and order our affairs accordingly.
If you’re a CEO or business owner, that may mean providing your employees with a chaplain to help care for both their daily and eternal needs. If so, we’d love to talk.
Or perhaps God is calling you to become a chaplain who cares for people and offers them the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ, right where they spend most of their waking hours… in their workplace. If so, fill out an online application now to get the process started.
Or maybe you simply want your workplace and others across our nation to benefit from the presence and influence of the light of Christ. Your prayers and financial support would be a great encouragement and help.
Either way, in the words of an old Irish blessing, “may the sun shine warm upon your face, and… may God hold you in the palm of His hand.” Please let us know how we can pray for you.
