Rob Estes
As the third generation to lead Estes Express Lines, Rob Estes has led the company through one of the largest growth eras in its history. In fact, Estes growth era has been one of the most significant in the history of the trucking industry. From the humble beginnings of Rob’s grandfather, W.W. Estes, purchasing a used truck to haul livestock for his neighbors in rural Virginia during the Great Depression, Estes Express Lines is now one of the largest, privately held LTL trucking companies in America. In many ways, Corporate Chaplains of America (CCA) would not exist had it not been for the service orientation of Rob Estes. When CCA Founder Mark Cress presented his idea for an organization to provide Life-Changing Care to employees, Rob Estes was open and excited about the idea and Estes Express Lines became CCA’s first client in 1996. From placing a chaplain in one Estes terminal location in Raleigh, NC with 90 employees, Rob knew right away that this type of care would produce changes to the Estes culture that were positive. Now serving over 20,000 employees with over 31 chaplains in 17 states, Rob and the leadership team at Estes have never lost the desire to be a catalyst for growth for CCA.
