Mark and Ginger Whitacre
Mark and Ginger Whitacre’s journey exemplifies the transformative power of Christ’s redemption and provision. Once driven by self-worship, Mark followed a path that led through personal ruin and imprisonment, a story chronicled by Hollywood, The Discovery Channel and countless others. But Mark encountered the gospel while in prison and that changed everything. God replaced his heart of stone with a heart of flesh, writing His law upon it and making Mark a new creation.
Today, through his work at Coca-Cola Consolidated, and in particular, the T-Factor initiative, Mark has lifted its impact with his infectious energy and Christ-centered passion. Under his leadership, T-Factor grew from modest Charlotte gatherings to a global movement reaching over 1,000 participants monthly across 79 countries, touching 14,000 lives annually. Major corporations now participate in this kingdom-building work.
Mark’s impact extends far beyond numbers: 78 companies representing 38,000+ employees now receive chaplaincy services because of his tireless efforts, resulting in an estimated 15,000 life-change decisions. Now in the fourth quarter of life, when many pursue leisure, he works tirelessly to advance God’s kingdom, proving that no past disqualifies anyone from divine purpose.
Throughout this journey, his wife Ginger has been a testament to extraordinary faith—believing in Mark when few would, standing by him through the darkest valleys, and reflecting Christ in her steadfast love which in no small order made Mark’s restoration possible.
Corporate Chaplains of America celebrates the Kingdom contribution of Mark and Ginger Whitacre by their indoctrination into The Avodah Fellowship. Honoring the men and women who exemplify worship through work.
